Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of silica sand in the Adri region. The methodology included a field visit and the collection of samples from different locations with variations in grain size, shape, and color. The samples were transported to the laboratory for a series of tests, including sieve analysis, mineralogical analysis, specific gravity determination using a pycnometer, and moisture content measurement. The results revealed that the silica sand from the Adri region possesses suitable properties that make it applicable for several industrial uses. After conducting the necessary analyses and laboratory tests, the findings confirmed the suitability of Adri silica sand for various industrial applications.
