Author Guidelines
Thank you for considering the Libyan Journal of Health, Science, and Development (LJHSD) for your research. To ensure a smooth submission process and maintain the quality of our publications, please follow these guidelines carefully.
Manuscript Submission
All manuscripts must be submitted in English and adhere to the formatting outlined below. Please ensure your manuscript is an original work that has not been previously published or is not under consideration by another journal.
Manuscript Structure
Your manuscript should be organized into the following sections:
Title and Authors

Title: The title should be concise and accurately reflect the content of the paper.

Authors: Include the full names, affiliations, and contact information (including email) for all authors. Use a superscript number to link each author to their affiliation. The corresponding author should be marked with an asterisk (*).
Abstract and Keywords

Abstract: A single-paragraph summary of the entire paper, not exceeding 250 words. It should briefly state the purpose of the study, the methods used, the key results, and the main conclusions.

Keywords: Provide 3-5 keywords that accurately represent the content of your paper.
Main Body

Introduction: This section should provide context for your research. State the problem, review relevant current research, and clearly define the purpose and scope of your study.

Material and Methods: Describe the materials and methods used in your research in sufficient detail to allow other researchers to replicate your work.

Results and Discussion: This section can be combined or separate. Present your findings clearly using text, tables, and figures. Interpret your results and discuss their significance in relation to existing research.

Conclusion: A concise summary of the study's main findings. It should not simply repeat the abstract. The conclusion should highlight the importance of your work and suggest potential future research directions.
Citations and References

Citations: Use a numbered, in-text citation format. For example:
...was reported earlier [1, 2].orBarnaby and Jones [3] obtained a different.... -
References: All references should be listed at the end of the manuscript, following the APA 7th edition style. Ensure all cited works are included in the reference list.
Formatting

Font: Use Times New Roman, 10pt font size for the entire manuscript body.

Tables and Figures: Embed all tables and figures directly into the main text at their appropriate locations.

Table titles should be 10pt Times New Roman, justified.

Figure captions should be 10pt Times New Roman, center-aligned.

Page Layout: The template provided by the journal should be used to ensure correct spacing, margins, and column settings.
